Principal's Message
Dear Armadale Community,
I hope you are keeping cool and well hydrated in this spell of warmer weather. Our school has an extreme weather policy which comes into operation when the temperature rises above 36 degrees. We will keep the children indoors once that temperature is reached as all our spaces are air-conditioned.

Parking
Street parking is available along the surrounding roads. Please be courteous to our neighbours when parking, dropping off or collecting students from school. Obey parking signs and do not park in or over driveways. We ask that you leave enough time to drop off and pick up your children in a safe and legal manner.
Please give particular attention to how children alight from cars and come to meet you. If both home and school emphasise obeying road rules and safety procedures, our children will make a habit of responsible behaviour. Parking, the law and you.

Compass
We use Compass School Manager to simplify our payment and permission system for events. Parents are able to login to their Compass account and give consent and payment for events at the one time (as explained on page 7 of this newsletter). The 2018 Essential Education fees and Voluntary charges are also on Compass.
Compass is our parent portal where parents:
- Provide permission and payment for upcoming events
- Access information regarding upcoming events and news
- Access your child/ren’s Student Semester reports in June and December
- Approve or enter upcoming or past absences for your child/ren
- Book parent/student conferences
- Update your email address and mobile phone number for our records.
Follow this link to Compass. A step-by-step parent guide to navigating Compass can be found here.
You can also download the Compass School Manager app from the Apple App Store for your iPhone or iPad or from the Google Play Store for your Android phone or tablet.
